Meet Kim Cerio
​Kim Cerio began her professional dog training career in 1999 at a boarding and training facility north of Chicago. There, she honed her skills by working with a wide variety of dogs. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in behavior modification, companion dog training, service dogs, dog sports, including personal protection, obedience, agility, and more.

Kim has also trained and handled several detection and working dogs, contributing to numerous criminal investigations across the United States.
Kim is highly decorated retired law enforcement officer having served with the Chicago Police Department, and Hurst Texas PD.
In 2015, after moving to Springtown Texas and creating Texas K9 University with her husband, Kim continued to pursue her passion for training, bringing her expertise to every stage of dog ownership. Kim specializes in creating seamless, lifelong bonds between dogs and their owners.
